The smartphone market keeps expanding, yet most of the choice sits at the mid-range and premium end. HONOR is aiming to change that with a device built for shoppers at the entry-level end of the market.
The new HONOR X5d s is easy on the pocket, but nothing about it feels entry-level. Available in Forest Green and Midnight Black, it pairs a dual-screen design with build quality that leads its category.
The display specs are impressive for the price. The main screen measures 6.78 inches and the secondary screen 2.01 inches. Resolution is 720×1576 pixels on the main display and 240×296 pixels on the secondary one. The main screen reaches a peak brightness of 600 nits, and both are protected by aluminosilicate glass.
Whether you’re catching your favourite skits or streaming a movie, the compact handset keeps every detail in view. The rear screen also adds a layer of fun. With one-tap selfie mode, it becomes a live preview window, so you can frame the perfect shot of yourself and your friends.
Animal lovers get a treat too. The “Select a Pet” feature places an interactive digital pet on the rear display. It responds to your touch, falls asleep when the phone is idle, and keeps you company throughout the day.
True to the brand, durability is a priority. The X5d s offers IP52 water and dust resistance, so you can stay in the middle of the action from spring right through the summer Festive Season.
As you’ve come to expect it in most HONOR devices, durability and protection remains key. In the X5d s it comes in the form of IP52 water and dust-resistance that will ensure that you stay at the centre of what’s happening from this Spring through the summer filled Festive Season.
