South Africa and Nigeria: Immigration Tensions Demand Law, Not Emotion
The immigration tension between South Africa and Nigeria is not just a border issue. It is a reflection of broken systems, economic frustration and the urgent need for responsible leadership. While South Africa has every right to enforce its immigration laws, the process must never become a tool for hatred or violence. Nigerians and other African migrants living in the country deserve dignity and fairness, while South Africans deserve safe, organised and well-managed communities. The challenge now is for both nations to deal with illegal immigration through law, cooperation and humanity, not fear and anger.
