Pride of Africa welcomes October with a programme bringing the LGBTQ+ community and its allies together through celebration, dialogue, fashion and storytelling. From rooftop cocktails to an inner city party, an empowerment summit and an evening of queer creative expression at the Queer Met, Pride of Africa Month 2026 invites our community to connect, be visible and celebrate belonging.
Organizer
Pride of Africa, founded by Kaye Ally, serves as an umbrella brand that amplifies the voices of LGBTQ+ initiatives across Africa. This platform goes beyond celebration, providing vital resources, support networks, and advocacy efforts that address the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. By uniting various pride events and initiatives under one banner, Pride of Africa fosters a sense of belonging and solidarity, making African pride relevant on a global scale.
