Starting at 7 AM, the run is a perfect opportunity to engage with the community and support a vital cause.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! This year’s theme, “Let’s Walk for a Healthier Lifestyle,” reflects our commitment to both personal health and community well-being. The Eye Can Walk Fun Run is made possible thanks to the generous support of Rockstreet, TNT Digital, Lotus FM, eThekwini Municipality, KZN Athletics, and Rising Sun Community Newspapers.
Participants will have the chance to support the KZN Blind and Deaf Society, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with visual and hearing impairments through a variety of services. These include independence skills training, job placement, and educational programs, all of which benefit from the funds raised by this event.

Verulam AC and Checkstar Verulam Falcons are also involved, ensuring that the event is inclusive and welcoming to participants of all abilities. Whether you’re walking for fun or running for a cause, your participation helps shine a spotlight on the needs of the disabled community and promotes greater understanding and support.
“Participating in the Eye Can Walk Fun Run is a great way to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a day of health and community,” said Veetha Sewkuran, event coordinator. “We look forward to seeing everyone come together to make a difference.”
